I love candied nuts. When you make them yourself, you can use just the right amount of high quality sweetener to enhance their great flavor. A sprinkling of these crunchy nuts add so much pizzazz tohot breakfast cereals, desserts, salads and soups. Walnuts are one of my favorite nuts to eat on a regular basis. Rich in fiber, antioxidants, and omega 3 fatty acids, they are nutritional powerhouses. However, when I chop walnuts, bits of skin tend to come off on the cutting board. Who wants to have walnut skins in a salad? Not only that, but the skins taste bitter. Here is how to easily get rid of them.
